Black Wenge

The Black Wenge table marked my first experience working with an exotic wood and became a meaningful turning point in my work. It revealed just how much there was to learn, from understanding the material itself, to navigating a finish I had never used before, and realizing how many tools were still missing from the shop. The process carried a fair amount of nerves, but the final result was striking.
