Cutting board

What’s in a gift? A brother in Christ once gave me a book that changed the course of my life, and I wanted to respond with something made by hand rather than bought. Knowing his love for cooking, I built him a cutting board out of cherry, walnut & maple, adding a bit of extra care and detail so it felt personal rather than ordinary. Later, he sent photos of it in use, then resting back on the stand made to match, a quiet confirmation that the gift had found its place.
